Well, we are ninth on the grid, the top ten within a second of pole. Even Hayden managed a 2:00 lap ahead of Bayliss.
If CE2 can make the start he will make good progress in the heat of battle. Let's hope that he can launch the thing!!
And remember- the race is tomorrow (Saturday), NOT Sunday.

Colin's 0.809 off pole, which is pretty damn good considering a lap of Assen is two minutes long. Positions six through ten were all very close! The Yamahas seem to perform better with qualifying rubber but Edwards has been consistently fast on race tires. Man, if he could nail the start tomorrow...podium time? I say yes based on this weekend's form. It's a very exciting time for that team as things begin coming together! And I can't wait for the race either- nor SpeedTV to show it on SUNDAY. Yeah, I'll just read the results Saturday morning and hope I see EDWARDS way up on it...

Check out the Assen trap speeds reported on amasuperbike.com. The Aprilia is only 2mph off of the 185mph top speed of Rossi's Honda and only 3mph slower than Capirossi's 186mph.
The dismal Kawasaki's are only managing 170mph-171mph.
Assen is a good track to catch-up from behind. Hopefully, even with a bad start, Colin can break through the field for a top-5 finish. Here's hoping.
Go CE2. Ride safe.
according to other thread its down 10kmh thats 6mph but it dont matter because its lighter than the rest of the feild .. kawas and suzuki and proton spent milions of $s to make a joke out of themselfs , i bet KR just quit in frustration so i dont undrestand why proton made the same mistake ? at least with old KR3 they were finishing ahead of suz and kaws
