i just bought a 2004 red tuono,
exelent bike but the gearing is way too long
this week i will change the front sprocket with a 16t one,and i have a question for you,will the tuono be controlable at the first shifts?

It will be fine, this modification is a huge improvement. I've had mine done and I still can't wheely to order!

You can start with the front sprocket, and later change the rear sprocket - No problem with the stock chain... :blah:

im also thinkin about installing pipe-airbox-chip(aprillia) in a few months,
they promished me 14hp in the rear wheel(dought it)
do you reckomend this gearing or the previews one with the 17t sprocket?
i love this bike!
I'd recommend the 16t front sprocket at the very least......I have also tried it with a 44t rear and that's 'wheelie' good :rolleyes:

16/42 here and I can say its the best performance mod I've ever done to a bike. Makes a HUGE difference!!.
