The windshield arrived today from Mototek. This shield is specifically designed for the 150 and mounts with four bolts to the receptors on the steering column. You will note on your 150 under the front turn signals on the steering column a black plastic cover. This when removed, exposes the receptors. The shield is beautifully made and is a big one! It even protects your hands.

You order it from w.mototek.com. (http:www.mototek.com.) They have a website and the cost of the shield is $159

We just sold out of the windsheilds for the 150, we still have Scarabeo 50's in stock. Figure about 3-4 weeks for our next order of screens.

Thanks for the nice review, glad you like them !

All right I'll bite. How much is a Scarabeo 50 Windscreen and who makes it (meaning do they have a website)?

Jay:
Probably in Europe because of the weather and the fact that they use these scooters during all seasons, this windscreen is a giant one!
It's bigger and taller than any windscreen I have ever seen on any motorcycle or scooter. Riding with it, you feel absolutely nothing from the wind on your face chest or hands. You look through the screen not over it. I hope it does not effect the high speed handling. The quality of workmanship is excellent.

Okay, the price is $159.99 they are made in Italy by a small accessary manufacturer for scooters with no web site (yes, internet is still something new in Italy ! )

. Yes, they are full size and offer great protection. I assume because they are plexiglass you could cut them down and shape to your liking. We sell alot to all the Aprilia dealers nationwide.

Let me know if you have further questions.....

Today we tried out the windshield that we had ordered from Mototek and it is perfect. It protects you completely, including your hands. My wife rode hers at 65 mph for some distance today and it was slightly windy. Despite the size, the 150 remained rock steady. It makes riding at speed a real pleasue especially as the cooler weather approaches. It was about 55 today here in Oregon and she didn't even have to wear gloves.

You say it will take 3-4 weeks to get another shipment. Is there some kind of waiting list we can get on? I would like to get a shield before the lousy weather starts coming in September here in Northern Oregon.

Many Thanks
