Big-bore Scarabeo 150 kits

There are big bore cylinders for this model. Two kits are available a 178cc Malossi kit and a 174cc Polini kit...hig-performance cams are also available. Email me for availibility. I cant wait to hot rod a Scarabeo 150. I wont be surprised, if it will smoke the tire and do huge wheelies.

I noticed on the Italian website that they do make the Scarabeo in a 200 cc version. Wonder when this will be available?

Hey, Im from the Uk and have just blown my engine, do you know of anywhere (website, etc) I can purchase a one off those 174/8cc bore for the aprilia rs125??

put a cam, cylinder, and pipe on a scarabeo 150.
pretty damn fast. will smoke the tires, no wheelies. sounds wierd like valve clatter, but that's because the cam lobes are pretty drastic.

So, has anyone yet installed and tested the kit(s)? I'd like to know if the extra ccs alone make a difference or does one need to modify the exhaust? I'd like to keep things as quiet as possible (stock pipe)!

We will soon...I have several big bore kits and cam packages on order. If anyone in Texas wants to do the install we can work out some free dyno time and cheap labor. I would love to put the Malossi package to the test on the dyno. The Scarabeo 150 runs really strong from the factory so I am guessing a bigger cylinder, more compression and a more aggressive cam will only make it more fun.

Hi All

Could anyone from the UK tell me if the fitted the 178 kit on a 125 ?
As i am very interested to fit one on mine , it would be nice to see it working...well , way to speak . I am in London .
