Reading a recent post on the advantage on taking your test on a scooter, I thought you might like to hear this.
My wife took the test on her Yamaha Riva 125. They are easy to maneuver and she was doing perfectly until the maximum brake test. In order to achieve the times they require you have to really crank it on. She did and the throttle stuck in the wide open position. I saw smoke coming from the tires as she tried to brake but she crashed anyway. It was very fortunate that she went down before hitting a brick wall at the end of the course.
This happened to me once on her scooter before but I thought it was a fluke.
Has anyone had an experience like this?
