This is a real shot in the dark...but I would like to know if there is any interest in forming a small club in the Tampa Bay area.

I have two interested right now and another two would be enough to at least get it going.

Tampa does have one scooter club but they are very young folks who happen to own only classic type scooters.

We've got a riding club in St Pete meets once a month a Mike's Restaurant, 5901 Haines Road at 9AM for breakfast then rides for Lunch
We've got a good mix of Helix, Atlantic, Silverwings,
Reflex's, etc. Our fearless leader is Chip Haynes and his # is 727-442-8072 (sorry no Email)
Our next ride is this Saturday Dec 21st, we'll ride to Safety Harbor for the Christmas Parade and lunch

Had planned to attend,but it was too cold for me that Morning.How was the Meeting?Maybe we'll make the next one.

Only had five, one Honda Trike, one Silverwing, one Atlantic, one Reflex and one Helix, all regulars. I had to ride my Helix as my Atlantic was in the shop for condensation in the instrument panel. One month we do a short ride and one month a lone ride, this was a short ride up to Safety Harbor for the Christmas Parade and Lunch at the Green Springs Cafe

I just got that problem with the condesation yesterday. What is the fix for that? Thanks Craig

there's no fix according to my dealer; the instrument panel is vented to the back and should dry out by itself. See my post on the subject "Condensation"

I too, wanted to attend that meeting and ride in St. Pete last Saturday but by the time I learned of it...I couldn't break previously made plans.

Does anyone know the exact date, time and meeting place of next months meeting?....I and my son-in-law will make every effort to be there with our 500's.

Funny, I also had that condensation problem for the first time just yesterday. The temp. and dew point must have been just right.

the HEROS meet the 3rd Saturday of every month at Mike's Restaurant, 5901 Haines Road in St Pete. That's near Rt 19, just south of 62nd Ave North. Our leader Chip Haynes hasn't sent out the 03 schedule yet, but the January date should be the 18th. They alternate between long and short rides monthly. I think the Jan ride is a longer ride, around the Bay
