Wont Idle

Hey micah or ed, I have had my bike over here for a while now and I still cant get it to idle.... Have 68cc head 24mm carb 24mm intake carbon reeds.... anyways it had sat idle for roughly 7 months but there was no gas in the carb I get it over here and it runs just fine but wont idle have to keep it going by keeping it rev'ed passed 2k. Yesterday when I installed the new manifold I had some carb cleaner some pipe cleaners and a dental pick and proceeded to checking every lil thing that could be clogged... the air idler couldve been the culprit... but even after I cleaned everything It still wont idle I played with mainjets idle air idle ect... cant get it to idle?

Check for a chipped reed(s) or an air leek at either the base gasket or the seals on the crank. Normally the reeds are the firsat place I check when this happens. Also if the reeds are not fully closing (all reeds are pre-curved and fit only one way) this will cause the poor idle symptom.
