I need to replace the clutch cover gasket. I have the gasket, I have some oil. How much oil does the gear box hold? And what are the torque specs for the clutch cover bolts? I have a torque wrench so Im ready to go!
This is my first time doing this so any advice would be wonderful.
THANKS!

Well, I've never actually torqued mine. I imagine the recommended torque value is very low, so the average torque wrench would be useless anyways since they don't read low figures accurately.

I just use a standard size allen wrench and snug everything up by feel on the clutch cover.

Make sure the old gasket is completely removed. It shouldn't require any kind of gasket sealer, just a pressure fit.

Make sure you are using 2-stroke tranny oil. In the center of the clutch cover there is a phillips head screw. Remove that screw when you are filling the oil. Keep the bike level. When oil begins to seep out of that hole, it is at the correct level. But I recommend you let the bike sit for a few minutes and add a bit more oil again to be sure the level is constant. Then put the screw back in and add about 100cc more oil.
