i do, if i'm correct it's a taiwan made cilinder kit. if it is then i'm surprised to find that they have reached as far as your country.
never tried them though 'coz were busy swapping out 50cc engines with 90cc minarelli horizontal engines & then boring & stroking them up to 104cc. it is a blast to ride a stroker motor.

Tiba your back...
It must be fun to ride super tuned scooters,,
what scooters you use?
Jogs?

Tiba how are those yamaha strokers doing against the honda strokers. what kinds of speeds are you getting out of them.

Laz224,
yup we sure ride yamaha Jogs around here and they are swarming all over the place in this part of the country. we like Jogs 'coz they are small, light so they are pretty fast with a hot set-up.
Rydah,
right now my customers' Jog101cc hits 145kmh @ 400m which is pretty good considering you only spend less than half of what it takes to build a high-end 70cc race set-up (MHR Team/Speed, EVO & PR2) & you can't beat the torque of a stroker motor especially when you're cruising at 100kmh.
but in full race trim it's still the high-rpm screamer 70cc scooters that really steal the show as they drown out the the sound of the stroker motors (more like drone) with a high-rpm shriek that's so pleasing to my ears.
BTW i just built-up a Beta Ark LC to full MHR TEAM/Speed set-up & it's 100% MHR; Malossi 25mm carb kit, MHR team crank, MHR Team 2000 exhaust, MHR VL14 reedvalve, MHR OR kit, MHR delta clutch, MHR wing bell, Malossi 13/44 pri gear. i have tuned the carters to match the transfer tunnels of the MHR Speed cilinder kit, everything inside the carters has been worked on & the cilinder received no tuning whatsoever, btw the bearings & oilseals are from MK (SKF 6204 TN9 C4 bearings) and i'm surprised that installing the crank is a breeze requiring very little effort pressing the crank in, must be the extra radial clearance.
i started yesterday with the carter tuning & finished this afternoon tuning the carbs, the pilot jet of the PHBL25 needs to be smaller as the 55 size is too rich at part throttle openings & leaned the main jet from 110 to 100.

How's that AC Beta doing Tiba? Did you do anything to the cooling? How much does it rev? etc?
I quit AC, because the high rpm's just weren't coolable.

tiba what do you think about stroking a jog 90 motor?

DRT,
it isn't an AC please read again, it's an original Beta Ark LC. revs? maybe around 13000+rpm i think as i didn't do anything to the cilinder yet. according to the manual it makes peak torque at 13100rpm & peak hp @ 13500rpm with MHR Team2000 pipe with 19mm carb but this one has a 25mm carb kit installed but i don't beieve it'll make 20hp with it's current state of tune.
BTW it's running Malossi red big spring with 4g x 6 rollers (24g) but it feels like all revs & no pull (maybe just because the scooter is heavy) so i'll add heavier rollers when he returns for another adjustment.

Rydah,
i say go for it but only use the FM 45mm stroker cranks or the port timings of the stock barrel will go overboard & you'll have a hard time tuning the motor.
for street use don't raise the exhaust ports just widen it to the maximum accepted value, also the ports won't present enough area when piston is at BDC so it's also good to open up the ports by grinding the floors to BDC, that way the engine can totally breathe.

LOL, I don't think this forum is moderated at all.
Well, almost. Micah, Ed etc are mods. Some hard-core porn stuff was deleted from the Biker Bar.

OK, who wants the Job, DRT or Tiba? PM me with an answer and it is yours! BTW, I still come and read here...you guys are my inspiration for doing most of my stupid RS50 shit!
I have a 44mm x 47.6mm RS50 motor in my bike right now...turning 13,500 rpm and hopefully when fully tuned making 20bhp to the back tire!
You are not alone!

it's very good to hear from you again Micah, i think DRT's the best guy for the job of moderating this scooter part of the forum & after all he's more IT literate than me.:D
what crank did you stuff into the RS50? some trick custom crank perhaps? & what cilinder kit? Malossi?
again another Beta Ark LC came in for some tuning & this one's different, it's got a Polini EVO70 LC kit (untuned), MHR Team 2004 pipe (talk about mismatch), RHQ pin12 crank, Polini OR rear pulley, Malossi OR kevlar belt, Polini 2G Speed clutch (mated to a stock 105mm bell), Malossi 13/44 pri gear set, Malossi vl12 reedvalve, Malossi red big spring & a PHBG21 carb.
it had very sluggish acceleration 'coz of the following; too rich pilot jet, clutch bell not matched to the clutch, too heavy rollers (4.5g x 3 & 4.4g x 3). the carters aren't ported to match the EVO's huge transfer tunnels so that accounts for some power loss.
so i did the usual practice by inserting very fine copper wire (.13mm) to restrict the flow of fuel thru the pilot jet, lightened up the rollers (4g x 6), tightened up the clutch springs for a higher rpm engagement, overhauled the carb, replaced the old sparkplug with a Denso Iridium IW27 & added a bottle of Motul Scooter Power 2T oil.
acceleration improved dramatically but it's very evident that the clutch bell wasn't the right size for the 2G speed clutch so it still engages a bit too soon but the owner will definitely buy a clutch bell (maybe a Speed bell or Wing bell from malossi). also i Dremel'd some air vents to help remove excess heat generated by the transmission so it runs cooler during long trips & high rpm blasts.
but it's the pipe that really gets into my nerves, some people do just to make a quick buck. the owner was looking for a pipe which was better than the EVO1 but the parts vendor told him the MHR Team 2004 pipe would also work with the EVO cilinder. i said to the owner of the Ark that the EVo's exhaust port is 30mm big & the MHR team's exhaust flange is only 27mm so the MHR team pipe is actually choking the EVO cilinder.
now he's thinking of selling the Team 2004 & replace it with an EVO2 exhaust 'coz that's what i recommended. we'll wait & see in a few weeks if he's really serious in changing his pipe, after all he's missing out on the full potential of his EVO cilinder kit.

Thx Tiba.
I guess I'm more often here then you, but all cool. It's not like there's much to be moderated in here (which is good) but I'll take the honors.
