How often do you guys overhaul your rear shock linkage? I've checked it annually so far and everything seems clean each time. So, that's 3 times I've taken it apart and regreased but it hasn't seemed like it needed it. Other bikes I've owned seemed to eat grease.

Same experience as you. Mine has only rarely been in rain so that helps with life downunder.

I would take it apart, inspect and lube each time you replace the chain or about 15k miles.
Also a good time to have the shock serviced.

The service interval for an Ohlins shock as per Aussie service people is 40k kms, unless you are racing. The front Ohlins R&T forks should be serviced around 20k kms.
Now these figures are the figures recommended by the Aussie people. So don't flame me.
But based on those figures my forks had done 15K kms, and they didn't really need to be done. That includes 6-7 track days a year and maybe 8k kms of road approx.
As to the rear shock it's got 24k kms on it, and it is still as sweet as it was when I put it in, before I rode out the door with the bike. So I'll be leaving it till at least another 10k kms.
Just my 2 cents worth on the subject. Sometimes we can go to excess on servicing stuff, (although I know it's good to do, and I'm equally guilty of it), but we should just get out on the damn things as often as we can, IMHO! :D :D
