That might be the only thing that saves me. Since going down on the track I am getting much pressure to give up riding.

Don't do it, duganc. Just 'cuz ya fell doesn't mean give it up. The good news is that you fell on the track instead of on the street, yes?

Believe me, I'm trying. I am going to get the bike from the delership in about 1hr. All rebuilt with extra goodies. Maybe she will see it and agree its too beautiful to get rid of.
I'm torn and so is she. We've got a 4yr old who wants to keep her daddy around. It doesn't help that a friend of mine died up a Pocono two years ago doing a track day.

Sorry to hear about your friend at Pocono. It's tough to reconcile the desire to ride with kids in the picture. Every so often I have a close call and think about what would happen if I didn't come out of it in one piece.
It's human nature in the perpetual brain vs. heart battle...
