Question to the Sharkskinz people.

I bought a used set of bodywork from Scoot and they fit perfectly except for the air tubes....

To install the Sharkskinz air tubes on a Mille, do we need to drill a hole on the fairing stay about 1.5" to 2" below the 'stock' air tube anchor point?

This will result in the air tubes being on a bit of an angle, but at least they will fit.

Any suggestions?

The way mine went on was that they screwed into the stock holes but the top 1/3rd of the air tubes was covered behind the nose. If I lowered them as you suggested them yes they would be totally exposed but that required drilling the fairing stay. I think generally people put them in the stock holes and just leave them a little covered or notch/cut out the nose section to open it up.

I drilled my fairing stay. It worked fine.
