How can I get my arrows exhaust to fit my 2003 bike ?

In the box comes a bracket and a metal stick

the two can only be used together, resulting in the removal of the rear footpegs

if I want my rear footpegs AND my arrows can held securely in place any ideas ?

I've heard for older bikes the only thing arrows DID give was a bracket to fit onto the footpegs, but now they only supply some bracket meant for a big long metal stick that they give you, seems a bit unfair, granted it looks the dogs bollocks, but removes my ability to take a passenger

Any tips at all ? Other than making my own bracket, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
