in fact all drivers who don't take notice of anyone other than themselves

today on my way to work trundling alon no more than 25 - 30 mph, went round a blind corner as i do every day and have been doing for the last 7months. when suddenly saw a blue fiesta pull out from a parked position to go past another parked car then stopped, as this was just litterally at the end of the corner i had no time to react, try and overtake and face on coming traffic or slam the anchors on, chose number 2, slammed the brakes and back end lifted up and bang straight into the back of the car, rebounded back off and onto my feet unfortunatley couldnt hold the bike and that smashed on the floor, luckily no damage other that the end off my r/h footpeg snapped.

but i'm bloody feeling it now my arms and shoulders are killing me, the women just parked up and stayed in the car while I picked the bike up and examined it, then after about 5 minutes she eventually got out and asked me if i was ok, had a little go at her but swapped details, she said it was her fault for parking there and she shouldn't of stopped, but there is nothing i can do as to claiming for the bike or for further injury cos in the eyes of the insurance companies if you run into the back of someone your fault or not, you are liable, what a load of shít, i will now be taking it a bit steady on that bend now.

Craig do you sell footpegs and bar ends?

pitty it wasnt the left peg, as i have just bought a pair of original pegs, only needed to use the right peg in the end

I had my bike crushed by a woman driver. The story goes...
It was a nice summers night and me and my mates weret at the pub, hence I rode there. Just sat down outside on a table with a nice pint, when I heard this typically awfull sounding crushing/cracking/scraping sound. Some bint, had tried to revese into the space I was parked in with her typically uncontrollable huge 4x4, obviously being too high she hadnt seen the bike, and it was only when she got out the car to see what the problem was, did she see my poor bike underneath.
Meanwhile instinct told me it had to be my bike so I got up to go round the corner, and there was my poor bike crushed underneath her hefty 4x4. To which Im standing there in bewilderment thinking why the hell doesnt she move the f^%$&in car????? Luckily she was insured and approximately 300yrs later when her insurance company decided to pay out I recieved a half decent check.
Insurance companies really really really really pi%s me off.
Sigh*
