Does anyone here carry pillion passengers on their RS125 on a regular basis? How does the bike go and handle with a pillion on board? Obviously it is necessary to stiffen the rear suspension and inflate the rear tyre a bit more, but how do go on with making sure the chain is correctly adjusted for carrying passengers, because I am sure you wouldn't want to alter it each time you take a pillion as well as yourself. One other thing that springs to mind, as the RS doesn't have a grab rail I assume the only other thing to hang on to is the rider, correct?

I carry my girlfriend on a regular basis and it's starting to become a nusance im insisting she gets a RS cus it don't half hurt your balls plus as the bike isn't very heavy it wobbles when she flays her arms (something women seem to have an inane habbit of doing).
As for a rail the 97's have one im not sure about the newer models though.

the strap on the seat is for holding onto. they dont look that safe but they are strong.

its a lifting strap, and can be used by a pillion but i have seen 2 snap... on was when my friend (2 years back) had his girlfriend on the back, she came right off the back of it!?! and it wasnt at high speeds, and she hardly weighs anything...

So have you guys had to make any adjustments to the rear suspension and chain to be able to carry pillions or have you not?

suspension should be hard than stock, adjust bolt on top of shock, Chain will be fine. Also tyre pressure is 42psi i believe on standard dunlop stock tyres with full (2 person) load
