you do know the 400 wont be as quick as the 1200? ;)

but yeah, a 400 is a good choice for the next step up i reckon.....not too powerful but quicker overall....

good luck

Call me crazy, but this summer when I recieve a big fat pay packet, I'm buying a brand new R1. Had my RS 5 yrs now and its time to move on.
Can't be arsed with the categories in between, I'll learn by practice. I have pondered bout the MV agusta or a Duke, but to be honest my experience with Italian machines is nothing but costly!
Dont get me wrong if I had my way and I died 2moro I would want to be buried with my Aprilia! :D
I may even by an RS250 as well to have some fun on.

Hi

Personally I live larger bikes to be fairly torquey. The 1200 Bandit is torquey, but not so sure the XJR would be (never ridden one), although it would probably feel quite torquey compared to the RS

All the best

Gotta dissagre wid you shady, ive raced bikes for over ten years and the TRUE bikers ure talkn bout are probly the ones who never go near a track, by a r1 and mod the hell out of it, and think they can ride. The true bikers who do it for the love of it and not the 'mines got 160ps mate look at the size of my balls' dont care what you ride, how fast you ride, as long as you ride.
The amount of ppl on r1's, gsxr's and what not that i used to ride around the outside of on my old honda gp125 was embarassing to say the least, and usually they never came back to the track.
sorry for the vent, just getting pissed of at all the dam posers on mobikes these days.
