Howzit all? Well.. a somewhat sad chapter in my life has unfolded where by a career move to Madagascar has forced me to part with my beloved Tuono... A sad day indeed. Luckily though all of the pain and hardship was softly off-set with the aquisition of a shiney new ETV 1000 Caponord to accompany me to Africa! It's no Tuono, to be sure, but it has a unique fun ride about it! The one small snag I've come across so far though has been with the HORRENDOUS wind buffet coming off of the wind screen! So bad in fact that I stopped in a road side turn out on the way home and took the windscreen OFF. Suddenly the world became a calmer place... Being just a stumpy 5' 7", I sit niether tall enough to have my head up and out of the turbulant air spilling over the windshield, nor short enough to hide behind it, and thus am right in the mind nubming, helmet shaking turbulance. The "no windshield" mod is comfy and quiet but it looks terrible with the all of the intrument wiring hanging out the front of the bike. Has anyone else out there felt my pain, and come up with a good fix? Nice short windshield like on the Africa Twin? Anything? Or am I stuck with brain rattle for the rest of my days??? Please help!!!
