Hi everyone,
I have a 95 RS250 and have the possibilty to get a 99 model swing arm and rims for VERY CHEAP (under $300US).

Firstly, will the swing arm fit??
And secondly will there be any benefit to handling?
And lastly, would the rims fit regardless of the rear swing arm?
I am down in Australia and most mechanics insist there is no such thing as a 95 RS.

Hi, The swingarm and rear whell are the same and will fit, but if your swapping the front wheel to im not to sure wheteher it will fit, i know the new shape runs a bigger front profile.
But why would you want to swop the swingarm? Is yours damaged?

Thanks for your help, I'd only swop the swing arm if the back wheel was different on the new model, and it was needed in order to fit the wheel. But seeing as both swingarms are the same, I won't bother

The front wheel should work, I think you will only have to get the right spacers. And I believe the axles diameters are the same size, but I would have to go measure them.

For handling if the wheels are lighter (aftermarket) you will notice alot of differance. If they are the stock only difference is you can run a 120 instead of the 110. I prefer the 110 myself.
