How often do you clean your power valves?

I have voted for after every rebuild, but I have the RGV kit powervalve covers, which have a drain tube and a catch bottle. This keeps the powervalves crisp - but the catch bottle requires emptying every couple of weeks, which involves removing part of the fairing... I really must find a better place to mount it!

Do they really throw out that much oil? i was thinking of doing the PV cover mod too, but idve thought the more oil the better in there, or is it a case of crap sticking to the oil or something? anything i can do to make PV problems less likely is worth it

Also, i presume the RS250 uses the later, improved RGV PV's?

They can get pretty oily. And it is pretty thick.I made tube`s on them and at the end i put a little crain (can be open and closed) so i don`t have to clean the container.
But i`m still experimenting with this I need to change one of the tube`s

I saw this on a race bike in germany (aprilia rs 250)
