These pipes looks great. Hows the sound and performance compared to Arrow. Like the removable restrictors.
And these pipes are absorbsion types according to staintune Co.

The pipes sound great! Plus you can remove the baffles like I did to get more flow and sound. Staintures are high quality 304 SST. You will never need to pack them because there's no fiberglass in the pipes. I don't know of performance over the Arrow's because I have not been on one. The Staintunes are expensive though.

Ron, those are beautiful! How does the weight compare to the stock cans? Are you still running the stock air filter? Do you think something like a K&N would make it run lean again? The distributor lists suggested retail at $750, were you able to get any discount? Do you think the stainless will discolor after you run them for a while? There are some great roads up there in NW Georgia. I'm going to take a ride up there myself one day soon. Happy trails!

I didn't weight them but they are much lighter than stock. Yes, I'm still running the stock air filter. If K&N comes out with a filter I'll put it in. I've put K&N in all my bikes. No,putting the K&N in will not make that much difference. If it does, you can adjust the air/fuel mixture. I was able to get the Staintunes for $719.00. No, I don't believe they will discolor. Give me a e-mail some time and we will go ride the twisties in North GA. barbani@bellsouth.net

I just ordered a K&N BM1298. It's a BMW filter but K&N says it will fit. It should be in Thursday, I'll let you know how it turns out.

I have this K&N filter on my Pegaso. It is approx 4mm higer than the original filter. It is possible to mount directly but the filter will be kinked. I modified the airbox to get a better fit. There is also a BMC filter available.

Jonas, do you have the BMC number for their air filter?

Jonas, what mod did you do on your airbox? Did you have to fab a new part? Thanks.

Sorry, donīt have a partnr for the BMC filter. Only saw it listed in a catalog.
Airbox - I cut a circular hole in the remomable cover, then glued a new piece af plastic on top, this raises the cover by 4mm and the K&N is a perfect fit.
In the same time I made the inlet bigger, 80mm hole.
This really screwed up the carburation so I had to go back to the snorkel setup. Will try again later with even bigger jets, 128 mains was not enough. Seems like the intake is quite restricted by the small hole.
