Please excuse my stupidity here, but does the airbox have to be removed to get the shock out or am I just being dumb here? I have gotten the bolts out but It looks like I need to take out the Airbox now... uhhhggg will it ever end! Ohh yeah one of my pipes has 2 broken mounts... rusted right through... I thought these where stainless pipes on the Cube? Check your bolts for propper torque, as many of mine were lose, and the bottom shock mount bold was unscrewed 2 full turns!!!!

I havent ever removed a Peg shock....I do doubt you have to remove the airbox.
try getting the shock out the bottom, you may have to remove some of the dogbones down there.
remember, once you loosen both shock bolts, you can freely move the swingarm up and down, so you maybe able to gain more clearance that way, you can even remove the rear wheel to drop the swingarm even lower

I didn't know that changing the shock would make such a difference! The Bike actually can turn without wallowing around like a pig! Ohh and it is sooo cool thatI chan change the preload just by reaching down! Guys if you don't have the Optional shock you don't know what you are missing! Trust me here! BTW CHECK ALL OF YOUR MOUNTING BOLTS!!! Several of mine had come loose! I just locktighed everything for sh*ts and giggles.
Long live the Pegaso!
