hi, i got my peg (brand new) at 1997 so i wonder which model is it?
the spark plug of my peg is always blackened and cause my peg not to start.
Is it the gap of the spark plug?
What dimension should the gap be?
Or any other problem?
kindly enlightened me, thanks and happy riding

If you have a 97 model it should be a Pegaso 3, in which case the plug should be an NGK DR8 EA or NGK DR8 ES and the gap should be .6 to .7mm that's about the thickness of your thumbnail.
If the plug is always black and sooty, check the condition of the air filter and make sure the choke is fully off at the carb when the lever is in the closed position hope this helps......Bob
