Will a F650 starter motor fit a 1999 Peg 3?

F650 starter motor = £150 versus Peg starter motor £600!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know for sure but would be very surprised if the starter motor is not the same for pegaso and F650.
But, you said the sprag clutch has gone so why do you need a new starter? That will not solve your problem if the sprag clutch is broken.
Changing the starter is an easy job, the sprag clutch will require a bit more work.
