I bought a used MP# 500 last summer. I didn't get the master or Programing key from the previous owner. I tried to order two spare keys and was told that I must have the master or programming key to set the new spare keys. I was quoted a price of aver $750.00 for a new ECU and related parts to get a new Master key to program the now spare keys. I am not concerned about the security system operating, is there a way to shut this system off and just use a replacement cut key without reprograming it for the security system?
Thank You

I broke a key on my Atlantic 500. AF Racing just sold me a new key blank with a transponder and a master key. Most motorcycles/scooters like the Ducatis and Vespas come with a master, but the Atlantic did not. The procedure to register the new key looks fairly straightforward. Why not see if AF Racing can get you one for your MP?
