Can anyone confirm when the fan comes on with the Tuono.
My last supersport came on at 105C, but the Tuono hasn't triggered the fan as yet !!

The 06-09 Tuonos is 208f, the new v4 tuono should be like the rsv4 which is 215f

Mine comes on at about 103 which is apparently normal but a few times when it has reached 105 I've had to flick the fan with my finger to get it started. I haven't seen it run over 106 to date although I never ride in traffic.

2011 V4R, just checked and the manual says 101C so clearly something is not right.
Fuse is fine, my bet is that it's yet another bloody relay that's gone !!

or bad fan motors itself....seen a few on other aprilia models, and they all use the same part.
You are lucky....we dont get out V4 Tuonos for a couple months.....cant wait for mine.

Just fixed it, nothing more than the relay not propepry connected to the wiring loom.
I am one happy camper - and stop moaning Ed, your paying 60% of what we pay for the same bike, only right that you should be made to suffer a long wait :)

Hey AndyS, Where does this relay reside, I need to check my connector as I have seen 103 at times with no fan running.

It's underneath the head stock on the RHS. There are two relays the one on the right is for the fan.
Hope that this helps, there's a good picture in the service manual I can post if you don't have one ?

Thanks Andy. No, I don't have a service manual and a picture would be helpful thanks.
