VMB ET3 125 specs

Stampings on my motor are:

105843
VMB1M

From looking online it looks like a VMB ET3 125 motor with a 133cc Polini kit, 4spd of course. :worship:

Maybe Thovas can clarify? If he ever gets on the forum. I would like to use this thread to hold some info about this motor. Like what kinda of trans oil it needs and the mixing ratio, along with spark plugs.

If others know it would be great to post it here or as I fid out else where online I will come back and edit my post with the info.

OK this is what I found out:

Vintage Vespas run the Non Detergent 30W oil. You can get this at almost every auto part store but usually have to ask as they keep it in the back. DO NOT RUN THE DETERGENT KIND!

Also found out a lot of these scooters have different ignition systems.
The really old ones were 6v but most of them now, if working, are converted to 12v systems. You can have points or electronic ignition and you may or may not have a battery.

I also found out with the correct gearing and carb this motor/frame combo can run 80mph! :eek:

Thats a primavera motor. Do you have the body?

80mph is gonna be a lot of work. 80 is a lot of work even on a p200 or rally 200 and they do 65-70 stock.
