What touches down next? The reports and rider comments I've seen concern me about the stand dragging before the tire limits are reached. If the stand is removed, what is the next interference point? I've ridden a Futura some, but never in an area that allowed me to test the sporting capabilities of the bike. I can live with a sidestand only if it helps, but I don't know what contacts the ground after the stand is removed. Thanks

Your kick stand will drag next. I've dragged mine several times now. The only time it will drag is when your suspension is compressed, like a sharp down hill turn or if you have a passenger on board. I covered my buddie who was following to closely with a shower of sparks. He didnt think it was quite as funny as i did.

... just taking a really wild guess here....

I don't 'spose it's your knee that's 'sposed to touch, is it? So one can judge and develop a repeatability to the whole process....

Didn't I read somewhere that hanging off a bit actually reduces the lean angle necessary to... get it bent 'round a corner?:blah:

I removed my centerstand after very few miles. Both sides had rubbed. Although rubber mounted, the centerstand was hitting hard enough to lift the rear wheel.
Nothing else has rubbed.
