Crying cruiser

Well, to make a long story short, I was an avid Aprilia forum browser while shopping for my first new bike until I made a bad mistake. I decided on a Futura but loved the look of the BMW R1200C for quite some time. When I came across a deal I could not pass up, I thought that buying the BMW Cruiser would be the better decision considering the following. If I bought the Futura and decided that it was not for me, I would take a great financial hit as the Futura's resale value stinks. If I bought the BMW and found out it was not for me, I could always sell and get most of my money back. Well, the deal was a brand new BMW R1200C Stiletto for nearly $2000 less than any other dealer was willing to offer so I jumped on it.
I absolutely LOVE the way the bike looks but I HATE the way I look on the bike. That is not really important though. I get no enjoyment out of sitting in an upright position listening to a highly muffled pig of a bike that barely moves. Not to mention the fact that I am a bit of a gizmo / tech junkie and want so badly to stare at a blue lit dash with digital readouts of every bit of information I could want, not to mention the cool sound and agressive riding position.
My only one complaint about the Aprilia is that even though every angle but one, the bike is so bad ass and looks like it will cut you if you touch it, from a front/side angle, the front reminds me of an updated Vespa scooter. That little Prang Mantis head of a main fairing.
Any way, I have to get rind of this $16,000 BMW that I hate riding and finally get my Futura but I have one question. What is a fair price for an '01, 02
