Yep. Was yours a new one? I got a used one (might as well have been new) for alot less than that! Has to be done to keep the yellow seat spanking for resale time.

Hi,
It will fit. I just changing it. You need only the 2 sides from RSV tail, the small seat, clamp and small conection parts. Rest like lamp, main seat, lock will fit.
You will need max 2 hours for the swap :)

My seat has arrived, it looks stunning.

The central section is in a mock carbon fibre and does not really match the rear seat at all but im guessing its going to look fine once on the bike. Just to remind you guys, I have the yellow bike and as MOZV4R will testify the yellow driver seat gets dirty easily, I actually also feel it looks a bit OTT with a big band of yellow from the tank to the tail, whereas the black driver seat with a splash of yellow only on the passenger seat should look quite stylish.
