My 750 did that when it was almost new. I had trailered the bike to a camping visit, and when I took the bike off the trailer and started it, the urgent service message flashed. Cycled the key on and off several times, no effect. Disconnected and reconnected the battery, no more flashing urgent service message.
Also you can use the code 98789 to access the maintenance page, but I don't think you will be able to reset the message there...... just nice to know the code. Maybe the code is 78987, I don't remember at the moment and don't have a desire to go check..... but one of those 2 codes works.

error cleared by dealer ... seems like there was a onetime error with the "throttle flap" management or something ... will see ... for now i'm happy that i have my bike back ;o)

after 1500km ... once again, complete meltdown :crybaby:
bike goes through "all" warning stations :WTF:
1. service urgent ... reduced power
2. service urgent ... only idle throttle = :bangwall:
3. service ... normal power
and ALL without turning off the ignition  and in rushhour :bangwall:
if i didn't have my GS-A as backup ... i would go a-hole all over my dealer/aprilia
btw: the "only idle" mode is complete :bs: ... it goes between 1 and 4000 rpm up and down as soon as you pull the clutch ... also when you are in N
my engine is allready up to 1 over norm temp and then that shitty mode :WTF:
is for sure good for an engine that is allready in emergency modus :chillpill

strange, i had that service urgent warning when i reached 10'000km.. brought it to my dealer (also to put the new map on it). just had that warning light, nothing else.. i could ride as usual. strange issue, since the maintenance interval is 20'000km.
did you guys know that you just cant bleed the brakes without the navigator (maybe plus axone) ?! just connect it with the computer, start the program and pull the brakes :) the computer does the rest. :)

I got an URGENT SERVICE MESSAGE today when starting it up after a brief stop during a ride. Turned the engine off. Cycled the ignition on and off several times to no avail, still the service message accompanied by the red warning light on the panel. Took the bike home, disconnected and reconnected the battery, started the bike; no service message.

Bike ok again.
Fault was again @ the "throttle flap" management sensor ... got changed.

I hope airplanes don't have a "throttle flap" in the engines..

:plus:
The last two rides I've done has seen the service light come on. I'm 7000kms away from a service.
I guessed there is a glitch in the system but it does put thoughts of an engine melt down in the back of my mind.
