Firstly, I've at long last got my silver one back after being without it for the last four months! :D :D :smokin:
Maybe now I can carry on running it in!
While at the dealers I noticed another silver Futura outside with a dark smoke screen and, wait for it, a dark smoke headlight cover. On closer inspection the screen was at least six to eight inches taller than standard and bowed out more a bit like a double bubble. In place of the standard light cover was a similar cover but very dark, almost black. The bike looked very tasty but I would love to see the ash black with the same treatment!
I asked the dealer about the screen and they said they had a company called Skidmarx in the UK make it for a customer and had just received it so it hadn't been tested.
I asked if they made huggers as I'm confident 95% of us want one. They will if enough people contact them.
They are only 20 miles from my house so I will let them use my bike as a pattern if I get the call.
Thats only gonna happen if as many of us as poss call/mail them! :)
If you're in the UK then call SKIDMARX on 01305 780808, or rest of world mail them at sales@skidmarx.co.uk
To see their work click here
They are not looking for thousands of requests, just a couple of dozen to get the ball rolling.
BTW If that was your Futura at Motosport then let us know what its like!

I hadn't realised it was that new
Congrats on its return.
I'm sure I've talked to skidmarx already, and more than once, I'm going to see what I can stir up at the Scottish show in 10 days time....
My list is mounting all the time, darn expensive things wish lists :p

PS. Rab, The bike had only 600 miles on it when it got stuffed. I got the bike last August so is this bike the lowest mileage 7 month old Futura?

Thats a hugger, for a single sided arm too :D
But it doesn't fit, I asked :(

It protects the rear shock from the crap the rear wheel throws up, in wet countries :p
