help me, seriously.
i have had my aprilia mx 125 (2004 model) about 8 month now, 6 month of that it had been broken.
it all started when i put semi synthetic oil in it instead of fully synthetic. i put it in the petrol tank (because i had a warning light and thought the oil tank was blocked). Turns out the oil tank wasn't blocked so it had the oil from the oil tank, plus the oil mixed with the petrol in the system. Anyway, when i did this, my bikes performance started going shit, the engine noise would change, it started to sound abit like a shitty scooter, and i lost all my power. So what i had to do to accelerate fast was sightly pull in my clutch so it would give it revs to accelerate. And this would happen on and off, it would randomly just go back to sounding normal and i would have all my acceleration and it was all fast again. After a week or so it became more often and basically everytime i got to a traffic light and set back off it would sound all shitty and have no power. and it would randomly start workin again.
Not long after it constantly sounded shit and i had no power, it got to about a month and i had to get it looked at because i was using so much more petrol (because i was only getting acceleration from my powervalves) i took it to a mate and he took out my air filter, and it was soaking, so he washed it, and magically it worked perfect, i was so happy it sounded good and i had acceleration. But a day later back to no power and sounding shit.
So next thing i did, clean spark plug, it worked perfect again, but once again a day later, it went back to shitty mode. Then i got the carb cleaned and the jets cleaned, but that didnt do anything.
i went to the shop to get a new spark plug, and my current spark plug was a 10 (was some letters before and after) but the shop only had 8 (matching letters) and they said it would work fine, should i buy a 10 just to make sure?
someone please help me its doing my head in. HELP!!!!!!!!!

you were probably fouling plug to begin with but you have obviously filled up with fuel since then.
having a colder spark plug will mean spark plug does not self clean as good plus cold weather.

id give it a full complete service if i was you, clean out exhaust and carb and in tank fuel filter and carb fuel filter check for debris and rust in the tank too and fill with fresh fuel , change to correct spark plug ,always use fully synthetic 2 stroke with the rotax 122 and change gearbox oil while at it.
check engines compression to see if piston , rings / barrel are ok.
adjust oil pump setting to make sure correct oil flow,,check reed valves etc etc .

your airfilter has to be lightly misted with oil as well for it to filter the air properly.
