I cut the stupid plastic restrictor out of the filler cap assembly. The plastic is quite soft so a hot blade does the trick neatly. An important tip is to use the hot blade well away from the petrol tank!

Only took two hours to do. 10 minutes to disassemble everything and cut the plastic off and 1 hour 50 minutes to hook out the allen key bolt that fell into the tank.

tip 2 . . . . . . . do it when the tank is empty :lol:
tip 3 . . . . . . leave out the security bolt, then in an emergency you can at least fill up by removing the exposed screws without wrecking the tank ;)
Tip 4 . . . . . . tie a cord to the seat release and feed it out discretely, lock a spare key under the seat
