Coolant ??

I feel stupid asking this question but ill ask anyway.

I took off my fairing just to take a look at the bike and clean the inside of the fairing. I looked through the expansion tank and didn't see any coolant. I shook the bike and still nothing. I wiped the outside of the expansion tank a little to see if that would help and nothing. I opened the tank but it was too dark and I couldn't see anything. Is there an easier way to check? I hope there's coolant in there. I haven't ridden the bike since I bought it due to a broken ankle. I'm new to aprillas, hence my newb question.

Yeah, those bottles discolor after awhile.....mine is pretty opaque but I can still see coolant in it if I look close and shake the bottle....if you want to check, just loosen the bottle, turn her upside down and see if anything drains out....There probably isnt enough coolant color in the coolant so that you can see it....which means there isnt enough actual antifreeze in the coolant mixture...I change the antifreeze in the system to be sure, but I'd do that anyway with a new-to-me bike....
