New SXV 550 Pricing

Hey guys,
I had a super sweet deal on a used/new 09 SXV 550 and I let it get away. Now, if I want one, I am going to have to buy from a dealer. What should I expect to pay (in the USA) for the bike. MSRP is around $9.5K. That stings considering what needs to be done to the bike to get it ready to use. I plan to buy the bike from whatever dealer, but, I want AF1 to do my prep and set-up.

I paid $8499.00 out the door for mine in March of 2010. It was derestricted and had 10 miles on it from the dealer (Aprilia of Oceanside - which has closed their stores). I've paid about $1500 since then on preventative maintenance & upgrades.

I paid 7995 plus tax -$8600 out the door, december 2009 for an 09. Just make sure you consider who you get it from and if they have an ass and an elbow and know what the @#$% the difference is because that my friends is"where i am livin". Make sure the dealer is really a "qualified shop".

Thanks guys! These are exactly the things that I need to hear from real owner/riders. I had no idea about actual pricing on these things, but, I knew that I was not about to give MSRP and then, turnaround and spend big $ getting it ready. Fortunalely, I'm not far from AF1 so regardless who I end up buying from, they will set it up. I know they will do it right.
