Thanks guys, the reason I ask is aparently, the X-12 (X-Spirit II) is not as highly rated as the X-11?? (X-Spirit) ...heavier, poorer vents, not as good value for money etc, etc...according to all the online reviews I've seen.

Well, anyway, my plan is to buy a new interior for my 4 yr old X-Spirit,it's immaculate, just gone a little loose with age... although the old one isn't that shabby.

Also buy a new X-Spirit v.I (really cheap at the mo) before they go out of stock...all for nearly £200 less than a new X -12..:)

So...two helmets...one with comms in, and one without...sounds like a plan :rolleyes:

I've had an X-11 for 6 years and love it. A new liner and cheek pads and you feel and smell like your wearing a new helmet, highly recomended. I have tried on a X-12 at the shop and it feels more comfy but havent riden with one on, but from a comfort point of view it was orsm. Couldn't tell a differance between the X-12 and XR1100 in the comfort stakes. Both felt like a Lazy Boy for your head...
