Just did the IBA's 1000 mile in 24hrs - actually 20hrs, on my new 03 Futura. What a ride!!! New to the Aprilia forums since I just got my ride 12 days ago and already 2018 miles. Ash Black and broken in!!!

Anyone else in the Chicago area?

Congrats. I a SS1k and a BB1500 on my Pegaso last summer. Looks like there may be like at least a 1/2 dozen Aprilias on the IBA finishers list now.

Not in Chicago, but I am in Illinois, closer to St Louis. Good job on the long ride, and on the Futura. I'm riding a '93 ST1100 right now and saving my pennies!

picking mine up monday or tue. We are doing a day trip up to road america on sunday the 8th for the bike races let me know if you want to go ( northern subs )

Note that there will be a Futura rider (from the Dallas area) in the Iron Butt Rally this year...

I'm in the Chicago area, where did you buy your bike? I'm interested in getting one, but I'd like to sit on one first. Since there are only 2 Aprilia dealers around here, its kinda tough.

BTW, I'd love to see your bike.
