ape, its looking good, like you say..........bring on the spring. can i join that club too please (i know it aint flat black but its still black)??? just got mine back on the road today, it was a beautiful day today but i have just finished, i started at 10am and its now 6pm, got to say many thanks to brummymax AGAIN!!!!!! the small res did the trick nicely. i got rid of the huge front brake res and swapped it for a small one, when they have no fairing to hide behind they look bad so it had to be done.
just needed some air in the tyres and it ran like brand new.......its good to get back on the back wheel too:devil::devil::devil:

keir, i had you in mind during the redo. yours was an inspiration. nicely done as well. i would like to go to 54s as well to make our bikes even more similar. did anyone notice the truck bed liner applied to the lower portion of the tank? tough and grippy.

i assume that this q is directed toward me? my bike is satin black and the lower portion of the tank (and the heel guards and a small portion of the tail section to match) has been overcoated with a product marketed toward protecting the inside of pick up truck cargo beds. it is very tough and grippy. it does a few things for me: 1 allows me to avoid sanding the decals off the lower part of the tank (major +). 2 provides a grippy surface for my knees to hold on too (heelguards too). 3 doubles as a buckle guard. all that and i decided that it would have aesthetic benefits too. the tank is huge and needs something to break it up. i am happy with the look.

i nicked the idea of the res of another member, i think he is a german lad. the res is courtesy of max. as for looking angry.........the looks pretty much sum up the bike, it is one lairy fucker, i've ridden a good few tuono's since i got mine and there is just something about the way mine builds its power/ delivers its power that is just brutal, its no more powerful/faster than the other T's just like you say.................angry:devil::devil:
