Anyone use one of these with their Shiver?
http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=6560
I picked up a trailer, and now need a restraint system. I like this, as it doesn't require any tie downs. However, while AF1 submits it will work with the Shiver, Pit Bull doesn't list it as compatible.
Does the Shiver have the same rear axle size as the mille or tuono?
I sent an email to AF1, but haven't got an answer yet.
Also open to hear what other people are doing.
Rock on.

These look very cool! But, I wonder if they could be attached on the tailgate of a truck? Especially mine being a quad cab Dakota. I'll have to shoot them an email.

I was thinking the same thing! I drive a Dakota, too, would love to be able to fit one of these but I don't see it happening...

I guess I would be able to get it to work if I had threaded inserts welded into the tailgate, but I fear it may be more work than that. I don't know what the inside of the tailgate looks like.

That is an interesting idea.
So it seems like no one is currently using this with a Shiver? Guess I'll have to harass AF1 some more.

With AF1's current 10% off offer, I ordered one today. . .I'll let you know what happens.

Weird, neither Ed or I remember seeing your email. Sorry 'bout that.

The Shiver shares the same axle as the RSVR so the system will work perfectly.
We need to order it in from Pitbull but they can likely drop ship to you. I don't think shipping will actually run that high so I'll get an accurate quote and update your order before processing.

Awesome, got the confirmation, thanks.
RE: the email, I submitted it via the site - perhaps that is not working? Just a thought.
Thanks again.

Box arrived today . . .will be a few days before I can get it installed, maybe this weekend. It is hefty, though, I will say that.

Capn did we ever get a review on this? Thinking about getting one soon.

I'm working on it! I just got the trailer back yesterday; I had some reinforcing angle iron welded in, and now I am drilling and grinding between rain storms.

I got it installed on my trailer, but I am going to have to deck at least the part where the plate is. They reinforced where the base plate bolts to the trailer, but it still bows when I roll the bike onto it, and makes it near impossible to slide the clamps in.
I'll update when I get that done. . .maybe this weekend.

I finished this during the past weekend. I put some PT plywood down under the base plate, and it works great now . . .slides right in. I'll try to take some pictures the next time I have it out, I forgot while I was testing it.
