Meh. Fucked the 600cc plan off now, I've decided I need to keep my license lol. (I have 6 points).
The questions I asked myself were:
"Am I going to restrict it or not?"
"Can I risk getting caught riding un-restricted?" No I can't. I would be an idiot to. It would stop me from doing a hell of a lot of things other than just being on the road, overall it wouldn't be worth it.
"How will it run restricted?" It will run like a dog to be fair.
To be honest, I don't feel like I need a bigger bike at the moment and why rush things? I'm only 17, I have lots of time to carry out road ambitions.
I will be working/getting educated locally so there really isn't any need for a big bike at the moment. I don't feel the need to pay 3 times more than what I'm currently paying on my insurance at the moment either.
Anyway, the cursed Runner has new rings and gaskets on the way so I'm hoping she will run when they have been fitted. That will be for sale again when they are.
I'm going to get driving lessons and my A2 full motorcycle license done shortly.
In the mean time I'll serve my heart up with what it wants, yeah another Runner. LOL I'm such an auto geek I swear, I don't know what it is but I just have a soft spot for them. You know you really like them when the majority of people will say they're shit LOL.
I'll be buying a better condition one compared to my last one, from a dealer with low milage etc. It will cost me approximately £300 max. more than if I bought an 'ok' condition one.
In the mean time I'll be doing my A2 and saving up for some engine work and trick parts. I know I said I probably wouldn't do it but what the heck, it's what I feel I want to do. It won't cost £4,000 either, I looked back at the previous thread and wondered where I got that figure from LOL. I think it was because I had included some ridiculously priced Malossi forks.
Anyway, that will give me time to save up so I can be riding legally (I'm not sure what the cc will turn out to be yet, depends which parts I use).
Stay tuned for the project thread as well, which will be epic.
Will be a load of two stroke fun anyway, I'll probably be on 4 wheels when I want to be.
Looks like it's not going to turn out too bad and more importantly what I would like to happen!
Enough of the essay.
