Who has one? I just got one from the big sale at sportbike track gear; it feels just a little too tight in the head, but super tight on the cheek pads. Will the helmet "loosen up" a bit if I can find replacement cheek pads, or should I return it for the next larger size?

I never order helmets without trying them on first... and this is why...

I LOVE mine... and have crashed bad in one and had it perform perfectly. They will "loosen" up a little but not much, so you might want to consider trading it for the bigger size. I own 2 of them and will replace those with more when needed. They fit my head shape and hold up really well. All the studies I have looked at and debates I have listened to seem to say these helmets are better crash in at <60 mph than the higher priced ones. (softer initally then they are or something).

To my Charlie Browm head, they run one size small. But, a great helmet for the $$.

Maybe I'll keep it for the snug fit/trackday/quick ride through the twisties but I wouldn't be able to keep it on for hours on end. I wore it for about 30 minutes this morning, seeing if it was just too tight - my cheeks were sore, but no head compression. I'm worried that the next size will be too big... unless I grow my hair out!

many low cost helmets come in only two sizes regarding the outer shell. Often the S/M is the same whereas the L/XL is the same. Only difference being the inner liner. My sister purchased a Scorpion a few years ago and I believe she exchanged liners to get her's to fit perfectly.

My 700 was so snug the first 2 weeks of riding that it actually made my teeth cut into my cheeks a bit. But shortly thereafter it molded to my head and became a great fit. The venting is very effective. You may have to play around with the various vent positions to find what works best in each situation.

The EXO 700 I received a couple of weeks ago from Sportbiketrackgear fits a little tight, but that was expected. I looked at myself in the mirror with the helmet on and my lips had some major pucker action going on. Like I said, though, the tightness will loosen up rather quickly and it will end up fitting like a glove. By the way, I met with the Scorpion rep at the International Motorcycle Show a couple of weeks ago and she couldn't believe how cheaply Sportbiketrackgear was selling their helmets. At the same time, however, she said Sportbiketrackgear was one of their best retailers and was obviously making room for Scorpion's new line. As for me, I was very impressed with the EXO 700 I received. The fit and finish is impressive and the graphics are equal to what you will find on much more expensive helmets.

I went through the same thing when I first got my 700. It fits perfect now.

I ordered one a couple of weeks ago when you started the thread for the closeout at STG. I got the EX-400 and after a shakedown run for a couple of hours today I ordered the EX-700 silver rivet also! I love this helmet, very quite.
I got a XXL and is snug but gives you a safe feeling.
The whole fog thing is just awesome. Here's a picture I took on my ride.

I have one and it had super tight cheeks. I removed the liner and the foam from the cheek area. It is glued in in layers so just take a layer or two off put the foam back in and presto...perfect fit.

It has my vote as the best bang for buck. I haven't crashed in it but it's anti-fogging features actually work...it def fit snug in the beginning but loosened up over time (like a week). If it bothers you then the best thing is to probably change the liner to fit better...

My new one arrived today.... I strongly suggest anyone that even remotely thinks that they want a new helmet order one at these prices....you will be happy you did.
