Personally i'd get the RS125 and a shit old car. By shit old car i just mean something that standard, but clean. I wouldn't want a rusty heap, it's only going to cost more in the long run.

Looking back, i would do my bike test ASAP, and get a car then when your restriction is up, bike insurance will be cheap and you wont have any shitty restrictors.

You mean get a bike when the restriction is up?
Nah, i don't totally agree mate. Personally i think once the test is out of the way bikes are so cheap to keep on the road that even at our age they could be used purely as a toy and have a car for when it's cold.

Yeah, thats what I meant LOL
Bikes are fun yeh, and like you said they are cheaper to keep on the road, mind you it all depends on what you get really doesn't it.

I guess so.
I love bikes, but riding in the cold, snow and ice is scary and horrible.
It's got to the point where i don't even want to get on the bike anymore, i'd happily sell both my bikes right now for a car (and licence LOL).
Riding to work today my hands got really, really cold. Then obviously i get to work and working in a garage we have to keep the big doors open 99% of the time just to show that we're open. So it's freezing at work. Then pull on my things to go home which are all freezing by now, so the ride home is even worse :(

Get a car that you don't mind insuring TPO, and get a 125.

I'm planning on that, but still keeping my 400, just a shame insurance TPO is so dear.
