Got the new issue of motorcycle consumer news, they review a product for use to flush radiators. Using a vacuum to make sure all coolant is evacuated and then refill it without airlocks. I've always had a bear of a time and always end up with airlocks on my tuonos twin radiators, this looks like an exc kit and can be had online for about $100. Seems well worth it tho a Iknow a diy could put the components together probably cheaper I'll probably opt for this.

Any with experience with it?

Interesting.

When you fill your touno's do you have them on the sidestand or a rear stand? If you have it a on rear stand you will have trouble as the air can't get back to the filler neck.

I've never had trouble with my Mille or my dirtbikes with twin rads.

After doing coolant flushes three Apes, I've never had a problem with any air pockets. Guess I'm lucky. I like that kit though.

Always on the sidestand and followed instructions to the letter in addition to reading the threads on here, I eventually got all the air pockets out (squeezing the individual hoses, etc, but this system looks a hell of a lot easier.

The other good thing is it gets ALL the coolant out, in the article they had a goldwing expert tech who's familiar with proper bleedind demo it. First they drained all coolant by conventional means and then put the vacuum system up to it and it pulled out an additional 26% coolant volume (approx 1 qt).out of the systerm. So the extra benefit is it EASILY extracts almost all of the old coolant out of the entire system.

Unfortunately there's still some left in the block. That's why I change mine in all my vehicles so often, unless I'm able to drain the block. If I get a vehicle where the coolant is quite bad I do 2 flushes with water to help dilute what's left. But it'd be nice to get it all out the first time though.
