cheers guys for the comments, the bike is a 2006 F41000S, the Matt black is a limited edition, here are some close ups, she is mint with only 1890 miles, the last owner did 400 miles since he bought it in may 2008:confused:
Check out the original tyres, still got the mould bobbles on them and about 30mm unused...........soon to be remedied:)

The mods at the moment are on their way to me next week, Arrow RG3 tail pipes in Silver with a mid pipe that removes the cat, a different eprom to go with the exhaust, plus a PC111USB to allow it to be custom mapped to smooth things out nicely, they are seriously fast with those mods on them, looks like my 2010 tyre bill has just got bigger :burnout:
VERY nice! If not planned already, I'd replace those 4-5 year old tires. Even if they look new, they've dried and will be much less sticky than new. Just my 2 cents for safety. :)

Very nice! MV wheels (especially in silver like yours) have to be the best looking wheels ever made for motorcycles. I also like the matte black a lot.

My dream MV is in blue, but I'd kick the boyfriend out of bed for some lovin on the Matte Black and Silver one, too. (is it so wrong to actually be in LOVE with Italian machinery? HA!!)
Enjoy!!!

Both stunning.
IMO the best looking bike ever to make it to production and certainly the best looking tail end without question.
You're a lucky fellow.
One question though...being a Scot, you sure you'll ever be sober enough to ride it?! :ban:

Very nice indeed, keep an eye on it they have a tendency to run hot, they do make some mods to help with this:peace:, I also like the flat black and also the blue/silver, They also have a white that is beautifull

Less than 2K on the clock, that's the way to do it!
I'd like the wheels in the same color/finish as the pipe tips.

Awe man, I am jealous!! Very cool bike, and they look much better with that color scheme than the weird silver/red combo...

Congrats on the MV!
I ride an MV Tamburini, and hated those stock footpegs, so watch out, they are just too slick and my foot came off them MORE than once. Found some rearsets from Ferracci that had some claw to them. Yes, the MV's overheat in Texas, but there are some waterpump upgrades out there now that can assuage those issues. Best thing is to NOT drive them in stop and go traffic....easy for me to say since I live out in the country.
Here's a shot of the Tambo:

that bike is just lush, my fave colour scheme (apart from the stealth of course).
I have done a few mods now and the stock pegs have gone for some black rearsets

Congrats on the new ride!
I'd go with the blue and silver over the flat black. I prefer some color and was never a big fan of flat paints. EVERYTHING in the Air Force was matte black, matte blue, or matte camo. Ugh.

Well, I love the star wheels. Always have. I need to find a reasonably priced set for the Tamburini.

That Tamburini is stunning !! (well, except the gold stuff, but that's just me)
I lusted after a Mamba for about a year, but couldn't get any dealer to provide one shred of info.

Yesterday I picked up a low mileage 2006 MV 910R Brutale Gladio (one of 300 produced). This is the SP13 Gladio which includes the forged Marchesinis, custom factory paint, and carbon fiber everything. IMO this is the best looking standard/naked bike produced by any company worldwide. Only took a very short rided throught the sellers' neighborhood but this Ferracci PCIII tuned and full titanium MVCorse piped Brute sounds absolutely wicked. No pics, but I'm betting somebody more computer hip than I will post some.

Thanks for the comments peeps, just managed to pick up a nice set of silver Brembo Superlight forged alu wheels to shed some weight and quicken the steering:banana:
Just noticed the post about the A82 and the Kinlochleven loop, now that is a mental bit of road and a must do if ever near Fort William:plus:
