The little plastic stub to which the fuel return line connects seems really flimsy. Could it be replaced with something beefier that would also allow some kind of quick connect/disconnect? I'd even be happy if the quick connect was somewhere down the line. For those of us who have had to disassemble our bikes often, spilling fuel can be a pain...

I saw one of those, in blue, on one of the European sites, but I had a vague recollection in my mind that someone on here had said something negative about fuel line quick-connects. Are they reliable?

And what is the price of this little gem?

You have 2 of them on your scoot right now, so yes plus the return line is a zero pressure line.
Price is about $12.50 US
I think I am going to get some just because the tank connector is buried.

Do you know if it, when disconnected, also stops/holds back the fuel?

I would guess not.
