ok, ive been searching for months now for a part nr. or something with no luck. does anyone have the part nr for the little plastic piece that surrounds the ignition key cylinder. had some jackass try to steal my baby a couple of months ago and they broke the piece trying to pop the steering lock. its the one with on, off, lock and park on it.

Hey cruzer,
According to the parts catalog, you have to replace the whole switch assembly. I'm not sure if you can get a locksmith to re-index it so your original key will fit. It looks like they sell a "lock hardware kit" that comes with a new ignition switch, fuel cap, and rear seat lock. Plus a bunch of hardware and new key. You may want to give Atlanta a call at 1-877-aprilia. Here are the part numbers:
Lock Kit- p/n 8104173
Main Switch- p/n 8124895
