My local dealer is also working on sourcing a Mana at cost. I then need to sell or trade my MP3.

Haven't ridden a Mana but will do so in the next few weeks.

Looking forward to educational info to bring me up to speed on accessories, mods, performance enhancements.

Can you tell me the following:

a. exhaust available
b. factory windscreen available in US
c. replacement shocks available (ohlins???)
d. any fuel injection tuning aka Dynojet?

a. Yes - a slip on from Leo Vince
b. Yes - provided you buy it from someone in Europe (I got minr from England)...I'm talking factory here - there are others available in the US.
c. Yes - not Ohlins but shorter to lower the seat height. I haven't seen any other shock available.
d. Yes - Aprilia Mana GPR Power Jet Multilevel Commander - search on EBAY

I was at a Vespa Club of Monterey (I have some Vespas too) coffee meetup at Starbucks on the Mana last year (the week before the picnic/bbq in the park), and only Marc was interested in the Mana, it was ignored otherwise. Chatted with 88 that day as well.

Oh yeah, don't support the local economy or local businesses. That way you'll have to go even further to get your bike serviced or for warranty work when your local dealer fails.

Thanks for the info. My local Vespa dealer is working on a trade-in deal and is trying to source a Mana for me. It would be great to provide this dealer with the business. I tend to do most of the service myself.

AF1 racing has a model or two of a 'large' wind-screen available. It's not the one Aprilia has on it's site/brand but I'm pretty sure I found it a month or two back in the 'Shop Online' link located @ the top of this site.
