Finally saw a RSV-4. Damn does it look tiny! The Aprilia rep said the Factories would be the first ones here. Sometime in October he thought they would be here. He also said the price would be somewhere around 22-25k. Then he fired it up and blipped the throttle a few times! To my ears it seemed to rev instantly. Watching the tach, it showed 7k immediately. The can sounded like shit though. With a slip-on I would have to say it will sound absolutely killer.

I was there today and yes it is tiny! I can't believe how fvcking awesome the bike is!!! The build quality is outstanding and I love the red. More of a racing red like you see on replica helmets. I got a chance to sit on it, both on the stand and off. Very aggressive seating, as I suspected. Sits up pretty tall though. At 5'6", I'll need to drop the ride height somehow. Other than that, fit me like a glove :)

I thought the color scheme was outstanding. I'm really not sure why there is a passenger seat on it. I think my ass would swallow it! Plus your knees would be up around your ears. I can't wait to hear one with a nice can on it.

yeah if anyone actually sat on that passenger seat they would jack up the paint on those fins!!! There is zero support between the seat pad and the fins.

Got to sit on it as well, I was surprised to see that it actually wasn't as small as people are making it out. I'm 6'1 and think that it will be fine. Currently I own the 2007 Factory and find no problem at all fitting on the bike' and I did over 500 miles home on my bike yesterday.
I have lots of photos of it' more so non screensaver happy as I was taking them between the fairings trying to get details of the parts. There were some things that didn't truely impress me on the bike. I don't want a rear passenger seat on it and the one on it is just hideous and no woman would even ride on it for more than 5 minutes if thats even possibly. No stock traction control, Bazzaz will probably not have one for this bike and for wanting to bring it on the track it is disappointing. Last but not least, the link plates are thinner yet. I felt them with my hands and are of the same unfinished material of the ones I had on my factory. I think that let alone their being even a hint of an incident of this that they would correct an easy fix issue.

Yeah the bike is roomy in the saddle and sits up really tall. Call it an optical illusion or whatever, but based on my pics, for once I don't look like a Chihuahua humping a Great Dane :)
