I got to ride the RSV4 for one and a half hours today. As i know the dealers well, i did'nt have the shackles of riding with a guide, so i was able to give it a proper blast on roads that i know very well.
The first thing that strikes you is how small it looks along side my Factory. That is untill you climb on board, and at 6'3", there is plenty of room for me, and not as cramped in the leg department as my bike with Gilles rearsets on. Once on the move, it is so nimble, and the handling and feel is just what you would expect with Ohlins, and a great chassis. The engine feels very much like my GSXR 1000 i had, only not as refined. I had it on track setting, and the power is good to about 7K, then she comes alive! Over 10K and she is ballistic!! The engine sounds very 'metallic' when running, very similar to a Ducati, not that thats a bad thing, but not like Jap smooth.
Would i have one? Maybe next year when any probs have been ironed out, but i have to say, when i got back on my twin, that instant torque and noise is so awsome, do i want to go back to a bike like my GSXR IL4? Not sure, but all the same, the RSV4 one hell of a great bike, and i would have it over the new R-everybody's got-1.

Yay! You just answered one of my questions. I'm 6'5" and wasn't sure how the riding pos was going to be. Nice to hear that normal sized people are going to be able to ride that gorgeous lil gal!
