I know there are some Griso owners here- question...

Is the Griso headlight a really good one at night, on high and low beam?

Last week while at the Guzzi/Aprilia dealer for service on my RSVR, I spent some time staring at the headlight on a Griso. The one on my Ducati GT1000 is well...pretty awful, and last night on a ride that went longer than expected, I rode home for a couple of hours in the dark on it. Terrible, especially since I've gotten used to the light on the Aprilia.

I haven't even measured the diameter of both the Griso and GT's lights, but I think they're the same. Of course, the mounting might be totally different, but I like the look of the Guzzi piece, and would like to look into swapping.

Thanks in advance!

I believe,an ol' round light from most trucks/cars that have that size fits...
...and would be much cheaper.

I have been testing out a Griso for the last 2 nights and I think the light is pretty comparable to the headlight on the Monster's that I have had in the past. The light is ok, but could be better imho.

I had my clear shield on at night and it worked fine, but I wouldn't be opposed to mounting some small fogs on the Griso for added illumination.
